The Maine is an American rock band from Tempe, Arizona. Formed on January 21, 2007, the band released an EP, Stay Up, Get Down later that year. On December 11, 2007, The Maine released a five song EP entitled The Way We Talk produced by Matt Grabe. Its first full-length album, Can't Stop, Won't Stop was released in mid-2008, followed by its next holiday release in December 2008 ...And a Happy New Year. The band has released 3 full length albums. On July 13, 2010, The Maine released its second full-length album, Black & White, selling 22,634 copies in its first week. On December 6, 2011, the group's third album,Pioneer, was released and it peaked at No. 90 on the Billboard 200^[1] .

Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.[1][2] After recording private albums, the band released their first full-length album, Fallen, on Wind-up Records in 2003. Fallen sold more than 17 million copies worldwide[3] and helped the band win two Grammy Awards and seven nominations, as well as scoring No. 6 in CBS's "Top Bestselling Albums of the Last 10 Years" (2008).[4] A year later, Evanescence released their first live album, Anywhere but Home, which sold more than one million copies worldwide. In 2006, the band released their second studio album, The Open Door, which sold more than five million copies.[3]
The line-up of the group has changed several times: David Hodges leaving in 2002, co-founder Moody left in 2003 (mid-tour), bassist Will Boyd in 2006, followed by guitarist John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray in 2007. The last two changes led to a hiatus, with temporary band members contributing to tour performances. Billboard ranked Evanescence No. 71 on the Best Artists of the Decade chart.[5]
Announced in June 2009, the newest line-up of the band eventually returned with Evanescence, their self-titled third studio album, released on October 11, 2011. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 127,000 copies in sales.[6] According to Examiner.com, the album also debuted at No. 1 on four other different Billboard charts; the Rock Albums, Digital Albums, Alternative Albums, and the Hard Rock Albums charts. The first single, "What You Want", was released on August 9, 2011. The second single, "My Heart Is Broken", was sent to radio stations in October 31, 2011. The band spent 2012 on tour in promotion of their new album with other bands including The Pretty Reckless and Fair to Midland.

Boys Like Girls is an American pop rock band from Massachusetts. Formed in 2005, the group gained mainstream recognition when it released its self-titled debut album. Boys Like Girls was the co-headliner with Good Charlotte for the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour2008 that toured across the United States.^[2] The group's second studio album Love Drunk, was released on September 8, 2009. As of February 2011 the band announced they would be going on an indefinite hiatus. On November 17, 2011, Martin Johnson tweeted "...#boyslikegirlsisback", revealing that the group has not broken up, rather that the members are taking a rest and engaging in various side projects. In 2012, Boys Like Girls announced that they were working on a new full-length studio album, titled Crazy World and was released December 11, 2012.

How Paramore was created..

Paramore was created in Franklin, Tennessee in 2004 by the two brothers Josh Farro (lead guitar/backing vocals) and Zac Farro (drums). Taylor York was also a part of the band from the very beginning, but his parents wanted him to finish school first. Later, they askedHayley Williams (lead vocals/keyboards) to join the band, and, through Hayley, Jeremy Davis (bass guitar) joined as well. Prior to forming Paramore,^[3] the other members of what was soon to be Paramore had been "edgy about the whole female thing" of having Williams as singer, but as they were good friends she began writing with them and eventually became a member.^[4] The band was eventually signed to a deal on Fueled by Ramen. However, before they began recording, Davis left the band for unknown reasons. The songAll We Know is about this. For this time, Davis was replaced by John Hembree. The band released their first album, All We Know Is Falling, and one EP, The Summer Tic, without him. However, he rejoined soon afterwards and was present on the band's second album,Riot!. Davis also plays bass on the live albums The Final Riot! and Live in the UK. The band's third album, Brand New Eyes, was released on September 29, 2009. Their fourth album, Paramore (album) was released in 2013.
